Welcome to Vocation Quest!
This is the final day
of an 8-day discernment retreat.
If you are entering
the site here,
we invite you to start at the beginning.
Return prayerfully to what you have written during your reflections of
the past seven days.
Loving Spirit of Wisdom, guide my thoughts and my memories.
In the light of your love, may I see what is important for me to remember, what is important for me to hold to my heart, and what I need simply to let go of in peace,
for I trust you to be my guide even when the path seems unclear to me. Through Jesus Christ, Amen.
What particularly stands out for you from these days?
Sit quietly for a
few minutes with what you have written. You might want to take a word or a verse and repeat it peacefully, letting it sink more deeply into your heart.
Write or talk to God about what has stood out
for you and about what you are feeling now. (The text box below will expand as you write.)
Close with the Our Father or with the prayer below.
Loving God, may I take on the mind and heart
of Christ, that I may hear your call for my life and embrace your world through my prayer, my work, and my life with others, in Jesus Christ. Amen.
Express your trust and praise of God with this video
of Mozart's rendition of Psalm 117:
Laudate Dominum.
You might want to visit the
Virtual Chapel and simply sit in silence for a few minutes.
Jesus is the prime
object of our faith... We come to know in Jesus that the
REALITY, the MYSTERY in which we are immersed, the nature of
which we could know nothing unless disclosed to us, loves us.
